Our Heart card this week:
The Star
When we are young, it is so easy to believe that every dream we have for ourselves and our future will easily come true. And then life happens and with it the disappointments and detours, mortgages and responsibilities. We forget about our pie in the sky dreams and get down to the gritty business of living life. We “grow up.” *sigh* The Star card is here to say: Snap out of it! It’s time to remember what it’s like to have a big dream, and to believe that is can, and will come true. So, go ahead. Make a wish. Dream a dream. Make long-term plans. A dream can only come true if you have the courage to dream it first. The sky is not your limit. You are.
Our Challenge:
The King of Water
How do we dream big when we have so many grown up chores and responsibilities keeping us firmly planted on solid ground, you ask? The King of Water challenges us to tackle that very dilemma. He is all about seeking wisdom and getting sound counsel. There is somebody who has answers that may be of help for us. It could be another person, somebody wise and helpful, who has our very best interest at heart. It could be a book, or TED talk, or PBS special. Or it could be that the answers and advice we need are within us. We just need to step away from the iThings, get silent for a few minutes and let the wisdom flow. I wonder if there’s an app for that?

The Sun
Talk about your celestial support! Wow! We’ve got the Stars and the Sun shining on us this week. With this much illumination we are bound to find our way. All we need to do is to be courageous, be confident in our choices and dream big so we can grow into them. Put away any and all excuses and get down to the very important task of living life as we choose. By walking toward our beautiful dreams we allow ourselves to shine with the light of a thousand, splendid suns.
