Weekly program helping RCMP find wanted persons
Cranbrook RCMP is thanking the public for taking part in Wanted Wednesday, with two more wanted individuals recently being captured by police.
Cranbrook RCMP today (Feb. 10) issued an update regarding warrants that have been executed for the following individuals: 50-year-old Kenneth Leverington and 40-year-old Daniel Edward McMillan, both recently located by officers.
Kenneth Leverington was wanted on one endorsed warrant for the Possession of Stolen Property Sec. 355 (b) CCC.
Daniel McMillan was wanted on one unendorsed warrant for Driving While Prohibited Section 95 (1) CCC.
“Cranbrook RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance with Wanted Wednesdays. Since renewing this program, we’ve been able to locate four individuals on outstanding warrants,” said S/Sgt. Barry Graham, Cranbrook RCMP Detachment commander.
“Locating and apprehending these individuals may assist the court process for victims, witnesses and even the offender themselves.”
