Cranbrook RCMP responded to 245 calls for service over the past week.

Of the 245 calls, 24 were mental health/check well-being calls, 24 suspicious person files and 15 mischief/disturbance calls.

There were 17 thefts reported to police.  There were 30 traffic related calls along with seven collisions that police attended.

Cranbrook RCMP investigated 12 assaults. RCMP also responded to 24 suspicious persons files.

RCMP also responded to 15 false alarms over this time period.

We are also pleased to report that there were no big issues arising from the Rock the Kootenays festival. We understand the event was a great success.
