Willows are set to be removed from a section of Joseph Creek by City of Cranbrook Public Works staff beginning next Tuesday or Wednesday.

The section of Joseph Creek set to be cleared is located along 1A Street South, between Balment Park and Mount Baker Secondary School.

Residents of the nearby apartment complex or any others who use the city’s right-of-way for parking are asked to please find another place to leave their vehicles for a few days.

The space is needed by Public Works staff and its equipment in order to access the creek for this work.
