100 Years of Steam at Fort Steele
Fort Steele Heritage Town celebrated a special day Saturday, July 15.
Fort staff, volunteers and visitors celebrated the 100th birthday of the famed 1077 Steam Locomotive.
Following a ribbon cutting at the railway station, the train steamed to life and visitors enjoyed rides around the rails.
A barbecue ran from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. serving steamwhistle dogs and chilli, along with cake served at the International Hotel.
