About… PWD Designation Application

1. We received a suggestion a year ago that services to disabled citizens would be improved if nurse practitioners (in addition to doctors) were allowed to complete the designation application for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) to receive the assistance they need.

2. Recently, nurse practitioners were permitted to provide this essential service. This change reduces red tape and delays for Persons with Disabilities, and ensures nurse practitioners can provide more comprehensive care.
