570 helped by Angel Flight East Kootenay in 2022
Angel Flight East Kootenay provided swift and safe transportation for 570 regional residents needing medical care in 2022.
Founded in April 2019 by retired airline captain Brent Bidston, Angel Flight East Kootenay is an entirely volunteer-led charitable organization with no paid employees.
Its mission is to fly residents of the East Kootenay to treatment centres in Kelowna, for free!
The 570 free flights for ailing residents, “proves it is a much-needed service,” noted Creston resident Myrna Johnson, who urges Kootenay residents to consider supporting Angel Flight in 2023.
As a registered charity, Angel Flight is accepting donations to be able to continue offering free flights. Every donation goes a long way, and you can choose to have a tax receipt for your donation if you would like.
