There are a couple of special festival events being held to recognize the 20^th annual National Aboriginal Day mid-month.

An Aboriginal Day Festival will be held by ?akisqnuk (Columbia Lake) Band members Saturday, June 18 at Lakeshore Resort and Campground (3151 Highway 93/95).

Things get rolling with a pancake breakfast at 9 a.m., followed by the Grand Entry at 11 a.m.

Valley magician Jeremy Coyote will also be performing at 1 p.m.

Lakeshore Resort and Campground (pictured) is located approximately five km south of Windermere, on the shores of beautiful Lake Windermere.
