The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Electoral Area B Volunteer of the Year celebration and Town Hall Meeting will be held this Monday, June 23 at 7 p.m. at the Jaffray Community Hall.

It would be great to see a full house as we honour Area B Volunteer of the Year, Curtis Gleeson.

Light refreshments will be served before we move right into the Town Hall Meeting portion of the evening with the following agenda items:

• Director’s Report from Electoral Area B Director Stan Doehle;
• Five Year Financial Plan Overview – with an emphasis on the 2025 budget and Area B;
• An introduction to the Rural Transfer Station Optimization Project;
• Elk Valley & South Country Rural Fire and Rescue Update.
