Area E Town Hall and volunteer celebration Nov. 14
You are invited to join in at the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Electoral Area E Town Hall Meeting and Volunteers of the Year Celebration at the Wasa Community Hall on November 14.
Things will start at 7 p.m. with the Volunteers of the Year presentation for Kathy McCauley and Mike Gall, followed by cake and refreshments.
The Town Hall Meeting will follow at 7:30 p.m. with presentation on topics, including:
- Mosquito Control Program Wrap Up;
- Short Term Rentals;
- FireSmart / Emergency Preparedness;
- Climate Action Plan;
- Lazy Lake Assessment Issue.
