This past autumn was all about a house rising, for us. A long, tiring, helpless wait shed its skin and hope emerged.

As a result, we didn’t get out and about as much.

Still, the East Kootenay always offers subjects for photography and when the light is right, the same old same old gets life anew.

This collection of images features the following locations: Radium Hot Springs, Fairmont Hot Springs, Cranbrook, Canal Flats, Invermere and Wasa.
