A series of brush piles along the NorthStar Rails-to-Trails pathway between Echo Field Road and the St. Mary’s Bridge will be chipped and removed starting today, Monday, July 7.

The trail will remain open to all users while the work is underway.

Public Works crews will have signs posted at active work areas—please approach these sections with caution for your own safety and the safety of our staff.

As the daytime temperatures are forecast to hit the mid-30’s this week, our staff will only be working along the trail until noon each day. The cleanup is expected to be finished by the end of the week.
