East Kootenay British Columbia Conservation Officers (COs) conducted two separate enforcement operations to apprehend individuals discharging firearms from a highway.

Three individuals were apprehended in mid-November and three individuals were apprehended on November 30.

Wildlife Act charges are pending against all six individuals.
