The City of Kimberley, City of Cranbrook, Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook, and Mountain Phoenix Community Culture are thrilled to invite you to participate in the Springtime Spruce Up and Co-Community Cleanup.

This initiative is designed to bring together residents, businesses, schools, and organizations in a collective effort to revitalize our neighbourhoods and green spaces.

This inclusive event offers a multitude of benefits. It’s a perfect opportunity for individuals, families, and groups to enjoy the outdoors and contribute to our joint mission of clearing our surroundings of winter’s accumulated litter. Events like these are not just about cleaning. They also promote team building, physical activity, responsibility, cooperation, a deeper connection with nature, and a sense of pride in our shared achievement of enhancing our environment.

Springtime Spruce Up

Kimberley & Cranbrook – April 22 – 25

• Register your business, group of friends, family, community group, or school to clean up an area of the city anytime within that week.
• Groups will be provided supplies by their corresponding city representative .

NEW for 2025:

• Media package provided to assist groups in organizing and advertising.
• Prize pack awarded to one participating team.

Co-Community Clean Up

Kimberley & Cranbrook – April 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cranbrook: Western Financial Place (1777 2 St N, Cranbrook).

Kimberley: Centennial Centre (100 4th Ave, Kimberley).

Register individually or with a group.

Garbage bags and personal protective equipment are provided.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves, dress appropriately for the weather, bring snacks and water, wear brightly coloured clothing, and carpool, ride or walk to the event location.

Prizes donated by local businesses and organizations.
