Deadline nears for Trust programs funding applications
There is less than two weeks left for interested non-profit organizations to apply for the 2019/2020 Columbia Basin Trust Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Programs.
“We recognize the tremendous impact these programs make on so many local projects and programs and want to ensure potential applicants are aware of the guidelines and submission deadline,” says Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Corporate Officer Shannon Moskal. “The programs are open to registered non-profit organizations. Any private sector proposals must be sponsored by a registered non- profit organization and must clearly demonstrate community benefits. All applications must be submitted prior to the deadline as late applications cannot be accepted.”
Application forms and proposal guidelines are available at the RDEK’s Cranbrook and Columbia Valley offices and on its website at www.rdek.bc.ca. The application deadline is Monday, January 21, at 2 p.m.
The programs are funded by Columbia Basin Trust and administered by the RDEK. For more information, contact the RDEK or visit www.rdek.bc.ca. To learn more about the Trust’s work, programs and grants, visit www.ourtrust.org.
