Extended nomination period paid off
There will be an election for School Trustee in School District No. 6-Trustee Electoral Area 2 (Kimberley and Area E). The nomination period was extended to 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17 after only two candidates stepped forward by the deadline on Friday afternoon. There are three seats for this Trustee Area.
At the close of the extended deadline, two additional candidates stepped forward (Extended Deadline Candidate Declaration attached), so we now have four candidates for the three seats:
- Betty Lou Barrett
- Mac Campbell
- Sandra Smaill
- April Wells.
