Golden Life villages raise $30k for Alzheimer Society
Community-wide effort brings total contributions to $80,000 in support of research, advocacy, and family programs
Golden Life Management, a family-owned company founded in Cranbrook in 1998, is proud to share that residents, families, staff, and friends across all 16 Golden Life Seniors Villages raised $30,000 this year in support of the Alzheimer Society.
With this year’s contributions, Golden Life’s collective fundraising efforts have now surpassed $80,000—funds that will support life-changing research, vital advocacy, and programs for families and caregivers.
“Alzheimer’s has touched my own family, and I know firsthand the heartbreak and the courage that come with this journey,” said Celeste Mullin of Golden Life Management.
“What gives me hope is the way our communities continue to come together. When we unite—residents, families, staff, and neighbours—we send a powerful message: that no family walks this road alone. Each contribution, no matter how big or small, is a step toward compassion, a step toward dignity, and a step toward a future where Alzheimer’s no longer steals the people we love.”
Alzheimer’s disease affects more than 771,000 Canadians, along with the millions of family members and loved ones who stand beside them. Golden Life’s fundraising efforts across B.C. and Alberta shine a light on this reality while also building hope for a future of better treatments and, one day, a cure.
Golden Life extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed—the residents who participated, the families who donated, the staff who organized events, and the broader communities who showed up with open hearts.
From bake sales to carnivals, walks to auctions, each effort has made a lasting impact. Together, this generosity ensures that awareness grows, supports expand, and dignity remains at the center of every journey with dementia.
Golden Life Seniors Villages are located across British Columbia and Alberta, providing care and housing for seniors in both provinces.
