Green Party candidate hosting town hall
Samson Boyer, Green Party candidate for the Columbia River-Revelstoke riding, will be holding a virtual town hall on October 15 at 6 p.m. MST.
This event is an opportunity for voters to learn more about Boyer’s platform by asking him where he stands on a variety of important issues in the upcoming election. The event will be held over Zoom and will also be live-streamed on Facebook. All constituents in the riding are encouraged to attend.
The town hall will be two hours long, and voters are encouraged to submit their questions ahead of time when they register for the event. There will also be a period at the end of the meeting for the audience to ask Boyer any remaining questions.
“COVID-19 has made this election difficult, but we’re adapting,” said Boyer. “Hearing about the issues that matter most to voters is one of the most important parts of an election, and I’m glad we’ve found a way to do it.”
