Griz Days sheriff wanted!
Fancy yourself as the next John T Chance in Rio Bravo?
The Fernie Griz Days organizers have a number of great opportunities for roles of Sheriff and Marshals. Each year the Sheriff and Posse have a key role in securing funds through the Most Wanted for a local Fernie charity. Last year the Most Wanted raised over $10,000 for the Women’s Resource Centre; a fantastic achievement.
Don’t be scared by the request; here at the chamber we will organize everything for you. We already have someone to tow the jail and we will help organize the Most Wanted, print the posters, arrange for media coverage and market the event. What do we expect – arrests on Friday, March 2 and Saturday March 3, in downtown Fernie.
What we need from you is enthusiasm and a desire to dress-up in chaps, cowboy hat and have that look of power. Contact us here at the chamber for more details (250)423-6868
