Highway 3 closed due to accident: now open
UPDATE: Highway 3 is now open.
Another vehicular incident near the Wardner Bridge has closed Highway 3 east of Cranbrook.
DriveBC is reporting the highway closed in both directions with a west-bound detour via Wardner Fort Steele Road.
No other details are available at this time.
Current highway conditions throughout the East Kootenay are listed as “winter driving conditions” or “compact snow, according to DriveBC.
