Holiday Train arrives in region Dec. 11
Canadian Pacific Railway continues to making a difference, one stop at a time!
It’s been two years since the CP Holiday Train has rolled through the region but this year will be just as memorable as the last with performers like Valdy, Brothers dude and Tracey Brown.
The train rolls into British Columbia on Sunday, Dec. 11, making its first stop at Sparwood at 3:35 p.m. The fun takes place at 367 Pine Street, behind the Leisure Centre.
Fernie is up next, with the train arriving at the CP Station (700-1st Ave.) at 5:15 p.m.
Cranbrook is the next stop, with the train pulling into the region’s market centre at 9 p.m., stopping at the 1400 block on Theatre Road. The show runs from 9:30 – 10 p.m.
The train rolls west to Creston, Castlegar and Nelson for Dec. 12 stops before returning to the East Kootenay for a 6 p.m. show at Radium Hot Springs’ Forester Landing Road. It then rolls north to Golden for a 9:15 p.m. performance across from the 7-11 on 10th Ave.
Since 1999, the Holiday Train has collected $5.6 million and over 2.45 million pounds of food in Canada and the United States.
Let’s do our part to help out this holiday season!
