The CPCK Holiday Train rolled into Creston – The Heart of The Kootenays – at 10 a.m. Dec. 15 with The Barenaked Ladies performing.

It was +5 C, overcast on lawn chairs with our blankets, hot chocolate and peanut butter cookies.

Roy in his 90s (pictured) said, “Great way to enjoy our Holiday Train – sitting down at home with neighbours, listening to music from Barenaked Ladies, an amazing light show on the train cars and fresh air – an enjoyable time!”

When the train was leaving – at the windows of the train people were waving to us – that was heartwarming for us to experience and see.
