There are still a few days to register for the upcoming 2025 BC Wakesurf Provincial Championships, presented by SWS Marine Group, being held on Lake Koocanusa in mid-August.

“We are so excited to bring wakesurfers of all ages and abilities together for the BC Provincial Championships,” said Provincials organizing committee member Loree Duczek.  “Whether you are a new or experienced rider, we are working hard to build the stoke for the sport of wakesurfing and this event is an amazing way to bring the whole surf community together for one epic day of riding and fun.”

The Provincial Championships will be held on Saturday, August 16 at Koocanusa Village on Lake Koocanusa.  Registration is open now and closes on August 11.

 “All riders must register in advance and there will be no late registrations, so it’s important all riders get signed up by the 11^th,” added Duczek.

There will be prizes for athletes, a food truck on site, and games on the beach. The public is invited to stop in and check out the incredible riding Saturday.

“We hope to have a video feed set up on the beach, so bring a lawnchair and join us in cheering on all the athletes throughout the day,” Duczek said.
