Lake Management Committee terms of reference approved
The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) board of directors August 5 unanimously approved terms of reference for the Lake Management Committee for Lake Windermere.
The District of Invermere and RDEK established the Lake Management Committee following the completion of the Lake Windermere Management Plan.
The committee, which is the board of the Lake Windermere Ambassadors, will lead a variety of tasks associated with implementing the management plan including a water quality monitoring program and public education around lake use and development.
