Local courses taking part in PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS

During the month of June, golf professionals around British Columbia will golf from sunrise to sunset to support those living with ALS. To raise awareness and funds for the ALS Society of BC, they will golf as many holes as possible.

Three East Kootenay golf courses are thus far taking part in the annual campaign, including Spur Valley Golf Course, St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino and Copper Point Golf Club (Ridge Course).

Spur Valley Golf Resort is one of 43 golf courses located across B.C. participating in the 18th Annual PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS on Monday, June 19. Golfers are to be announced.

St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino Golfathon is Tuesday, June 20, with Cindy Soukoroff and Mike Pearson teeing off.

And the Copper Point Golf Club (Ridge Course) Golfathon is Tuesday, June 27, with Brian Schaal, Dennis Bradley, Dale Moore and Scott McClain teeing off once again.

Proceeds from the Golfathon for ALS provide crucial support services to ALS patients and their families, friends, and caregivers. Help support your local golf professionals to raise awareness and funds for the ALS Society of BC. Please donate.
