Chailyn is competing her 11th year with Key City Gymnastics and graduating from Mount Baker Secondary School in 2026.

Chailyn had official visits and offers from D1 and D2 schools. Her heart and passion led her to accept Saint Leo University’s offer where she will attend university in Florida.

She will be studying a pre-med degree – Medical Humanities.

“I am overjoyed to share that I have verbally committed to Saint Leo University on a scholarship, where I’ll be pursuing my academic and athletic passions! I am grateful for God’s guidance and strength in making this dream a reality,” Chailyn said on social media.

“To my family, your unwavering support means the world to me. To my coaches and teammates, who’ve been my second family for 11 years, thank you for helping me grow into the athlete I am today. Choosing wasn’t easy, but I’m thankful for the opportunities that led me here. Thank you to Coach B, Coach Lizzy, and Coach Abbie for believing in me.

“I’m excited to join the team! Go Lions!”

Chailyn has dreamed of competing on a NCAA team since she was 10 and has been pursuing that goal ever since both academically and athletically. It is very exciting to see her dream come true and all of her hard work pay off.

The Acro and Tumbling sport had its first meet in 2010. It’s an emerging NCAA sport that is planning to have its first championship in Chailyn’s first season, 2027.

NCAA national signing begins today (Nov 12). Chailyn plans to sign at the Key City Gymnastics with her teammates, coaches, friends, and family on Nov. 13 near the end of training.

Congratulations Chailyn!
