Local non-profit offering annual e-bike raffle fundraiser
Biking around here gets awfully steep, and the team at Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook isn’t afraid to admit it! As part of an annual fundraiser, the non-profit has a Liv Amiti E+2 (valued at $4,400) available for their 2023 raffle.
Their goal is to raise funds to support their environmental education, conservation, and regeneration initiatives, such as the Apple Capture Program or, the community favourite, Camp Odyssey – as well as help you get up those hills!
“The odds of winning the bike are so great – one in 750 – I’m sad I can’t buy a ticket!” commented organizer Ali Hadikin, Communications Coordinator for Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook, “This is our fourth year running the fundraiser, and the best part is always being able to get out into the community and connect with everyone.”
The group has organized different pop-up sales locations and has partnered with local businesses to help someone get their hands on the winning ticket.
“Come and join us for 18 holes at Purcell Golf on Monday, June 19 and your raffle tickets will be included!” offered Ali.
Or stop into Bootleg Gap Golf, Overtime Beer Works, Mountain Man Outdoors, Fun Hogz, or Gerick Sports before the end of July. The prize draw will take place live at 5:30 p.m. at the Kimberley Farmers’ Market on Thursday, July 27.
For more information, or to purchase a ticket, check the Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook website at: wildsight.ca/ebike2023.
