Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting this afternoon (Feb. 26) issued a weather advisory for the service area, warning about mixed precipitation and possible slippery conditions.

“With mixed precipitation in the forecast for this upcoming week we are advising motorists to be aware of the potential of slippery conditions on the morning commute and during dusk hours,” Mainroad said, addings its crews are out applying winter material where needed.

Motorists should use caution, drive to the conditions, and prepare for delays caused by the weather.

Drivers should also check www.drivebc.ca before heading out.
