Man killed after quad breaks through ice
Kimberley RCMP this afternoon reported a man was killed Sunday when the quad he was riding upon broke through the ice on Premier Lake.
On March 27, two males were riding a quad on the ice, heading to shore at Premier Lake. At about 15 feet from shore the quad broke through the ice and both men went into the water, Kimberley RCMP stated on social media.
One male is deceased while the other rider managed to get to safety
“Our deepest condolences go out to the deceased’s family and friends,” RCMP said.
Police did not release any further details.
