MLA to meet with Columbia Valley constituents
Columbia River – Revelstoke MLA Norm Macdonald will be in Invermere on September 16 to meet with Columbia Valley residents and representatives of community groups.

“One of the most important aspects of my job is the time I spend talking with the people I represent,” said Macdonald. “I appreciate that so many people are willing to take the time to come and meet with me.”
Macdonald will be returning to the Legislature for the fall sitting of the House on October 3 where the government will begin by presenting a new Throne Speech. Macdonald will be responding to the Throne Speech where he will have the opportunity to speak directly to the House about the needs of his constituents and to comment on the particular impacts that new policy or program announcements will have on his area.
Local residents will also have two opportunities for input through the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services. The Finance Committee will be holding two public hearings in the East Kootenay region.
Golden on Wednesday, October 5 by video conference and in Cranbrook on Wednesday, Oct. 12.
