Preliminary results of the Bull River / Mayook Mosquito Control Service vote, conducted today by the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK), shows voters do not want to establish a service for the purpose of providing a mosquito control program in the Bull River / Mayook areas.

As provided by the RDEK – the preliminary results of the Mosquito Control Vote: Yes: 52; No: 100.

General voting occurred today (Nov. 19) at Wardner Community Hall and Advance Voting took place Wednesday, November 9 and Thursday, November 17 at Wardner Community Hall
