Partial rescinds on Moyie area evacuation orders

Effective 10:30 a.m.,partial rescind of the Evacuation Order for the Lamb Creek Fire has been downgraded to an EVACUATION ALERT.

The Evacuation Order issued to the area north of the townsite of Moyie to Swansea Bridge, including Porto Rico Road; the Westside of Moyie Lake from Aurora Estates including Green Bay, Mineral Lake and Monroe Lake on September 1, at 6 p.m. pursuant to the Emergency Program Act is partially rescinded.

The rescind applies to the eastside of Moyie Lake, including the Porto Rico Road and Hidden Valley Road areas and Owl’s Nest RV Resort as shown on the attached map. These areas remain on Evacuation Alert. If it is necessary to reissue an Evacuation Order the process will start again.

The rescind does not apply to any properties on the west side of Moyie Lake, including the Aurora Estates, Mineral Lake, Green Bay, Brana Road and Monroe Lake areas, which remain on Evacuation Order.

The Evacuation Order issued to the South Moyie area including: Moyie Shores Estates, Braunagel Road, Eagles Nest RV Resort, Moyie townsite and both sides of Highway 3/95 south of Moyie Lake to Stone Creek on September 2, at 12 p.m. pursuant to the Emergency Program Act is partially rescinded.

The rescind applies to Moyie townsite, Eagles Nest RV Resort, and both sides of Highway 3/95 south of Braunagel Road to Stone Creek as shown on the attached map. These areas remain on Evacuation Alert. If it is necessary to reissue an Evacuation Order the process will start again.

The rescind does not apply to any properties in the Moyie Shores Estates and Braunagel Road areas, which remain on Evacuation Order.
