Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting Ltd. is asking drivers to not pass snowplows when they are in operation.

“Please be aware, snowplows travel slower than regular traffic pushing snow and spreading salt/winter abrasives. Please DO NOT pass. Plows could have a wing blade you can’t see. Operators will eventually pull over so you can pass,” Mainroad stated in a tweet. “Thank you for your patience. #ShiftIntoWinter.”
