RDEK board meeting schedule for 2024 set
The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Board of Directors has set their schedule for meetings in 2024, with the first meeting having been held Jan. 12.
The regional board now meets every second Friday of a month (except September), whereas it met the first Friday of the month for many years prior.
RDEk board meetings are open to the public.
The remaining 2024 RDEK Board meetings schedule is as follows:
February 9;
March 8;
April 12;
May 10;
June 14;
July 12;
August 9;
September 6;
October 11;
November 8;
December 13.
RDEK Board meetings start at 9 a.m. at the Cranbrook boardroom.
Committee meetings are held the day before the full board gathers and the meeting times are posted the Friday prior to the board meeting here.
The amended agendas and the Zoom meeting link if you wish to view the meeting remotely are posted on the Tuesday immediately before the board meeting.
NOTE
There is a special budget meeting this month. The RDEK will also be having an extra day of meetings on Wednesday, February 7 for the board to have its first review and comments on the draft Five-Year Financial Plan.
Kootenay East Regional Hospital District
The 2024 Kootenay East Regional Hospital District Board meeting schedule is:
- February 9;
- May 10;
- August 9;
- November 8.
Hospital District Meetings start at 11:30 a.m. and the agendas can be found on www.kerhd.ca.
