RDEK gives letter of support for Canal Flats arena upgrade
The Regional District of East Kootenay board of directors Dec. 9 agreed to send a letter of support for the Village of Canal Flats Arena Upgrade Project application to the provincial Community Recreation Program.
The village has applied for $800,000 in funding to complete major structural upgrades to the arena.
“I’d like to thank the board for their support. We really do need upgrades,” stated Canal Flats Mayor Ute Juras.
