The Fernie Ghostriders head to Kimberley’s Civic Centre this evening (March 10) with hopes of advancing in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) playoffs.

Fernie is up three games to one over the Dynamiters, who aim to keep their playoffs hopes alive before hometown faithful at 7 p.m. tonight.

The Nitros kept their season alive with a massive 8-2 game four win over the Riders on March 7, before 976 fans at the Fernie Memorial Arena.

If necessary, game six of the Eddie Mountain Division finals will be played Saturday, March 11 in Fernie, at 7:30 p.m.

Game seven is scheduled for Monday, March 13 in Kimberley (7 p.m.).
