Roads icing up: RCMP warns

As of 3:30 p.m. this afternoon (Dec. 20), Cranbrook RCMP wants the driving public to know that road conditions have changed in the last hour and have become very icy – specifically on Highway 3/95 south towards Creston as well as Highway 3/93 near Fort Steele.
“We have a number of motor vehicle Incidents that we are currently dealing with and Mainroad has been advised of conditions,” reported Sgt. Chris Dodds.

DriveBC reports winter driving conditions all over the region at this time.
A lane has been closed on Highway 3/95 six km east of Yahk due to a vehicle incident reported at 3:13 p.m. MST.
