Snow falling all over the East Kootenay; slow down

Snow is falling in every corner of the East Kootenay right now and roads are starting to get slick in some areas.
An accident has been reported in Dry Gulch (south of Radium Hot Springs) between a SUV and a RCMP cruiser.
DriveBC is not reporting any other issues but its web cameras tell the tale of safety.
Cranbrook RCMP S/Sgt. Hector Lee also just asked local media to inform drivers about worsening conditions. “We have had multiple collisions this morning and people need to slow down,” he said.

Environment Canada reports snow and rain (two to four cm) for the Cranbrook and Kimberley areas, the Columbia Valley with a high of about 6 C today.
Travellers heading along Highway 93 in Kootenay National Park can expect periods of snow, with fog patches dissipating this morning. About five to 10 cm of snowfall is expected, with wind becoming west 20 km/h this afternoon. The high will be about minus 2.

The Elk Valley is expected to receive similar snowfall but wind will be in play, with 20 km/h south winds expected around noon.
