Snow is falling in every corner of the East Kootenay right now and roads are starting to get slick in some areas.

An accident has been reported in Dry Gulch (south of Radium Hot Springs) between a SUV and a RCMP cruiser.

DriveBC is not reporting any other issues but its web cameras tell the tale of safety.

Cranbrook RCMP S/Sgt. Hector Lee also just asked local media to inform drivers about worsening conditions. “We have had multiple collisions this morning and people need to slow down,” he said.
