Spaghetti Birdy Nests
Mommy’s Weird
By Kyla Cornish
I’ve been trying to update my supper boudoir. I think boudoir is the wrong word.
Anywho…
These were a hit. I found the original recipe in a magazine and made some changes for my children.
Spaghetti Birdy Nests
4 Eggs
1/2 box spaghetti noodles (I used whole wheat)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup spaghetti sauce
2 cups shredded Marble cheese
Cook spaghetti.
Pre heat oven to 375 F
Whisk eggs with Parmesan Cheese.
Add spaghetti noodles and coat
Use tongs and put mixture into muffin tins.
Make a small dent in the middle like a Bird’s Nest.
Bake at 375 F for 20 minutes.
Add one spoonful of Spaghetti Sauce to each ‘noodle nest’.
Add shredded Marble Cheese on top.
Bake five more minutes.
Remove from oven. Let sit a few minutes. Use knife to loosen around muffin tin edges.
There, done. You did it.
Look at you go!
I will definitely make these again, but possibly with meat sauce next time.
What would you add to your nest?
