Study looking into responses to prescribed fire and smoke
The University of Alberta is conducting research on public responses to prescribed fire and smoke in Cranbrook and West Kelowna.
Graduate student Sandani Siriwardhana and Dr. Tara McGee, Professor Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, are asking Cranbrook and area residents (and West Kelowna residents) to take some time to fill out a survey to aid them in their research.
“The survey is anonymous, takes about 10–15 minutes, and aims to gather local perspectives on prescribed fire,” Siriwardhana explained in an email.
