The Trans Mountain pipeline could be costing taxpayers across Canada more than $20 billion. In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, with so many people in need, surely there are better uses for our public money than this.

Back in February, when the cost of the project jumped to nearly $13 billion dollars, most people said they thought this project wasn’t worth the money. Now, with the second wave of COVID-19 here and a long recovery ahead, we need to defund this project and put that money where it can do the most good, creating green jobs and helping communities.
