Two small fires reported in region
The BC Wildfire Service is this afternoon (May 2) reporting two small wildfires in the region.
One is located at Matthew Creek (south of Dipper Lake), southwest of Kimberley. The fire was reported at 1:03 p.m. today. It is listed as zero hectares in size.
The second fire, also zero hectares in size, is located at Red Canyon Creek off Highway 93 north of Grasmere. That fire was reported at 10:26 a.m. today.
No other details are available at this time.
