Valley Remembrance Day ceremonies
Columbia Valley residents have two opportunities to remember our veterans and pay their respects Nov. 11.
The first annual Remembrance Day ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. in Invermere, with the Royal Canadian Legion leading a procession from 13th Street to the main street Cenotaph, where a formal remembrance will take place.
At 3:45 p.m. there is another Royal Canadian Legion procession in Edgewater, ending at the village’s Cenotaph a short time later.
