Virtual info session Sept. 17 on Treaty AIP

The B.C. Columbia River Treaty (CRT) Team is holding a public virtual information session on September 17, from 7 – 8:30 p.m.

The information session follows the release of an additional resource describing the elements of the Columbia River Treaty agreement-in-principle (AIP) that has been reached between Canada and the U.S. to modernize the Treaty.

The Province of B.C. last week released a document containing the content of the agreement-in-principle.

The 11-page document provides greater detail on the AIP and includes a glossary of terms. It is available now on the B.C. Columbia River Treaty website where you’ll also find an overview video presented by the Canadian negotiating team.

“If you haven’t done so, we encourage you to also register for the representatives from the Canadian negotiation team will be on hand to speak about the AIP and answer questions,” the B.C. Columbia River Treaty Team noted.

A recording will be available afterwards. Register for the Info Session now.
