WKRAC coming to region to make connections

There is an important event for artists and performers coming up at Key City Theatre.

The West Kootenay Regional Arts Council is going on the road!

Kallee Lins, WKRAC Executive Director, and Lily Andersen, WKRAC Grants Officer and Operations Manager, are heading to the East Kootenay in mid-September to make some good, old-fashioned, face-to-face connections.

Kallee and Lily want to meet the folks involved in arts, culture and heritage in Cranbrook and surrounding areas at Key City Theatre on Monday, September 15 at 4 p.m.

They will learn about you and your needs, while you’ll learn more about:

  • Grants you could apply for from the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance.
  • WKRAC programs you could participate in, like Articulate magazine and the Columbia Basin Culture Tour.
  • The broader ways they help people like you carry out your arts, culture and heritage activities more effectively.

The get-togethers will be casual, but Kallee and Lily are asking you to RSVP to help them plan appropriately.

The WKRAC representatives will also be visiting Fernie (Sept. 16), Invermere (Sept. 17) and Golden (Sept. 17).
