Highway 3 is currently closed four kilometres west of Sparwood at Olsen Overhead Bridge after a collision this morning.

No details are yet available about the crash or when the highway might re-open.

BC Transit reports due to the collision, Elk Valley Transit system’s #41 local bus and Health Connector will remain in Sparwood.

The Health Connector has been cancelled for today (March 13).

The #41 Local will not be running to Fernie at 12:40 p.m.

They are hoping to be able to run to Fernie again, leaving Sparwood at 4:40 p.m.
