Crown Mountain tours being offered
NWP Coal Canada Ltd./Crown Mountain is inviting Elk Valley and surrounding area residents, community members, and stakeholders to join one of the final guided tours of the Crown Mountain Project site this season.
The tours provide a unique opportunity to see the project area first-hand, hear directly from NWP Coal and Crown Mountain crew members, and learn more about the company’s plans for responsible resource development, environmental stewardship, and economic contributions to the region.
Upcoming Tour Dates:
- Wednesday, September 3 – 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 17 – 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 1 – 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Details:
- Tours depart from the Sparwood Chamber of Commerce.
- Transportation is provided via passenger vehicle with NWP/Crown Mountain crew.
- A minimum of five participants is required for each tour to proceed.
Advance booking is required through the Sparwood Chamber of Commerce at 250-425-2423.
“These tours are a valuable way for community members to see the project site, ask questions directly, and better understand the Crown Mountain Project’s potential role in the Elk Valley,” said Dave Baines, Director Project Development.
NWP Coal encourages interested participants to book early, as spaces are limited.
