District of Elkford council has officially passed the first and second readings of the district’s new Official Community Plan (OCP) and enters the public review stage.

Now, it’s your turn to weigh in on the new OCP one last time before it is considered for adoption.

Elkford’s new OCP was built with residents in mind. Your feedback helps shape the future of Elkford, and we’ve worked hard to make sure this plan reflects your vision.

The district is hosting a public hearing on April 28, at 4:45 p.m. in council chambers at the District of Elkford Municipal Office (744 Fording Drive.

Community members are encouraged to attend in person or electronically via Zoom.

Can’t attend the public hearing? No problem. Submit your written comments by mail, email or in person (by no later than 4:30 p.m. on April 28).
