Highway 43 re-opened south of Elkford after crash
UPDATE:
DriveBC reported at 5:43 p.m. (Nov. 12) that Highway 43 is once again open to traffic.
Drive carefully as DriveBC also reports black ice between Elkford and Sparwood.

DriveBC reports Highway 43 is currently closed in both directions due to a vehicle incident between Busato Road and Weigert Creek Access Road (five km south of Elkford).
An assessment is in progress and a detour is not available.
The next update will be at 3 p.m. MST.
